Operational Venue Team Leader

Sydney Olympic Park Satellite Sports Facilities is seeking enthusiastic venue staff to fill operational positions. A positive attitude will be valued over experience.

**Salary**: hourly rate + super + weekend penalty rates

**About the role**:

This role focuses on centre delivery, overseeing daily operations including customer service, programs, staff management and issue resolution as Duty Supervisor.

- Meet customers and provide high level customer service
- Support various venue programs such as archery, laser clay pigeon shooting, laser tag and ball sports.
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering phones, processing bookings, adjusting schedules and daily reconciliation.
- Implement opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with operational set-up, transition and bump out requirements (manual handling).
- Be a positive team leader and team member.
- Staff management of rostered shifts and consultation.
- Maintain security, operational integrity and high standards of operations, communications and presentation.
- Reporting, communicating and de-briefing.
- Assist with marketing and business development strategies

**To be successful in the role you should have**:

- Availability to work weekends & school holidays. This position involves shift work as the venue operates 7 days per week and only flexible applicant will be considered.
- Reliable and committed to providing quality customer service
- Strong communication skills when dealing with adults and children
- The ability to work in a team
- Must have or willing to obtain First Aid & Advanced Resuscitation Certificates.
- Relevant sporting, event or venue industry experience is ideal
