Procurement Contract Manager

12-month procurement and contract management role within a large government department requires baseline clearance.
This Procurement Project Officer will be situated in an evolving and dynamic environment at the forefront of workforce reform, utilizing coordination and in-depth procurement knowledge to support the management of a large third-party contract and completion of complex data modelling projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the management of projects, programs and contracts in line with departmental policies
- Coordinating and managing procurement processes in line with CPRs
- Assisting with all aspects of contract performance and risk strategies
- Preparing papers, technical minutes, presentations and correspondence
- Building effective relationships and negotiating outcomes with stakeholders
To succeed, the ideal candidate will have experience or interest in establishing programs and procurement or contract management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues simply are also essential. Additionally, experience with data analysis and data modelling is required.
