Key Account Receivable Specialist

About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Key Account Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of billing and collection of funds for services provided to residents and patients in our life plan communities.

This position involves maintaining accurate records, verifying information, and ensuring compliance with established billing requirements. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of billing and collection activities.
  • Verify resident/patient information and ensure accuracy of billing documents.
  • Communicate with site representatives to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Review and balance ancillary service files to ensure accurate claims.
  • Prepare and release private pay invoice statements within established timeframes.
  • Adhere to internal control review requirements before releasing claims.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., accounting, finance).
  • Three years experience in billing operations, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for up to 2 hours, and sit for up to 8 hours per day.
Working Conditions
  • Sitting - Up to 8 hours/day
  • Standing - Up to 2 hours/day
  • Lifting, transferring, pushing or pulling equipment/supplies - Up to 25 pounds
  • Driving - Up to 6 hours/day

$20-$30/hour
