Financial Services Professional

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Professional to deliver efficient financial, clerical and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely allocation of payments to accounts.
  • Prepare banking and journals, review and reconcile accounts.
  • Receipt debtor payments and donations and assist in following up overdue accounts.
  • Generate debtor invoices and statements as required and assist with processing authorised write-offs and credit notes.
  • Maintain correct details for direct debits, and process monthly files including credit cards.
  • Assist with debt recovery procedures.
  • Provide relief and backup support to team members as required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritise own work activities and schedules to meet established deadlines and achieve high quality work outcomes.
  • Strong computer skills, intermediate level ability in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of financial software including accounts receivable and general ledger modules.
  • Ability to maintain sustained level of concentration in a volume processing activity to ensure accuracy and identify errors to be addressed.
  • Proven ability to deal with debtor queries and outstanding accounts in a courteous and professional manner.
