Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced commercial account manager to oversee and retain our clients' accounts in the cleaning and maintenance industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, account management, and customer service. They will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients, building long-term relationships, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling additional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned client relationships, including client retention, expansion, and diversification of services and/or products.
  • Develop and implement effective service strategies and schedules tailored to each client.
  • Negotiate and enter into agreements with clients for additional services – determine pricing, staffing and logistics.
  • Manage contractor relationships, including sourcing, negotiating pricing and contract terms, managing agreements, developing service specifications, ensuring client compliance, verifying contractor compliance, and removing or replacing contractors as necessary.
  • Ensure a standard of excellence in quality and client satisfaction through detailed quality control inspections of client sites and consistent follow-through with all promises to clients.
  • Promote the sale of supplies for clients.
  • Effectively communicate client issues with contractors and supervisors; promptly address any client issues or problems that arise.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of management experience in janitorial services, building maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is desirable.
  • This role requires attention to detail and excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • A positive and outgoing personality, with great relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM databases.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
