Senior Therapeutic Case Manager Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Therapeutic Case Manager to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the clinical team, including supervision of staff and students, partnership building, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage complex therapeutic cases, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans that cater to individual and family needs.
  • Facilitate program referrals through intake consultations and provide face-to-face services across the region.
  • Collaborate systemically with young people, families, and care teams to create and monitor safety action plans and achieve therapeutic goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree level or higher qualification in a Health or Welfare related field such as Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy, Speech Pathology, or related discipline.
  • Experience working collaboratively with the family violence sector, including a working knowledge of MARAM and Safe and Together.
  • Sound understanding of issues involved in working with families with diverse needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues. They must also demonstrate a high level of empathy and cultural sensitivity when interacting with clients from diverse backgrounds.
