We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Indigenous Careers Talent Sourcing Partner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering CommBank's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Careers Programs, providing a compelling employee experience for First Nations employees, and driving our experienced hires strategy to support progress towards the Group's parity aspiration of 3% Indigenous employees by 2026.

  1. Develop and implement effective strategies to attract, recruit, and retain First Nations talent across various levels and functions within the organization.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, Business Leaders, and Employee Networks, to drive Indigenous employment initiatives and promote cultural awareness.
  3. Provide tailored support and a culturally safe environment for First Nations employees to grow their careers at CommBank.
  4. Contribute to the development of programs and initiatives that enhance the Indigenous employee experience, including yarning circles, mentorship programs, and leadership development opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop targeted recruitment strategies to increase Indigenous representation in key roles.
  • Build relationships with external community partners and stakeholders to source high-caliber Indigenous candidates.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to drive cultural transformation and embed Indigenous perspectives across the organization.
  • Design and deliver training programs to ensure all employees understand the importance of creating a culturally safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Indigenous employment, human resources, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
