We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Indigenous Connections Mentor to join our vibrant team.

As a key member of our employment services team, you will work closely with First Nations clients to support them in achieving their career goals.

Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional service, ensuring that our clients feel engaged, valued, and empowered to build better working lives.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of the cultural nuances and challenges faced by First Nations Australians.

You will be responsible for identifying and co-designing services that meet the unique needs of our First Nations clients, ensuring that they receive a tailored and inclusive approach to employment support.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one coaching and guidance to clients to enhance their job readiness and employability
  • Facilitating connections between clients and local employment services, promoting sustainable employment opportunities
  • Building relationships with employers to advocate for our First Nations clients and promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Collaborating with the team to develop and implement culturally sensitive employment programs and initiatives

**Key Qualifications:**

  • Degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field
  • Proven experience working with Indigenous communities and individuals

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
