Enhanced Customer Due Diligence Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Enhanced Due Diligence activities for financial institutions
- Produce timely, high-quality customer profiles and address quality issues
- Meet daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and highlight any audit and compliance issues proactively
- Conduct investigations on potential suspicious transaction alerts effectively and prepare good-quality dispositions
To be successful, you will need:
- Good experience working similar roles as a Customer Due Diligence Specialist for large financial institutions
- 2 or more years of experience working on enhanced customer due diligence (ecdd)
- High level accuracy and attention to detail and a good understanding of financial banking products, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), and other regulatory areas
- Experience and working knowledge of Lexis-Nexis, World-Check, Banker's Almanac, etc.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills
Job Description Overview
As a CDD Specialist, you will perform critical functions in ensuring the integrity of our customers' transactions. Your primary responsibilities include conducting Enhanced Due Diligence activities, producing timely and accurate customer profiles, and identifying potential audit and compliance issues. You must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and develop effective solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial institution
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good understanding of financial banking products, AML, FATCA, and other regulatory areas
- Experience with Lexis-Nexis, World-Check, Banker's Almanac, etc.
