About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team at Atlassian. As a key member of our procurement group, you will play a critical role in establishing strategic relationships with our providers, maximizing value, and delivering best-in-class procurement services.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, obtaining agreement, and leading transformational sourcing projects, following a standard strategic sourcing methodology. You will also lead projects, serving as the primary liaison between Engineering, Legal, Finance, and other teams, and establish relationships across the organization to ensure active and early participation in supplier-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to maximize Atlassian's value
  • Lead projects, including category analysis, supplier selection, and contract negotiation
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Provide rigorous analysis of spend data and industry dynamics to identify and launch sourcing projects
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiencies and maximize spend opportunity
  • Contribute to implementation and change management of process improvement projects
  • Mentor partners on procurement practices
  • Lead the planning and launch of RFIs and RFPs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience
  • Experience in sourcing, negotiating, and delivery of complex contracts
  • Ability to understand, translate, and refine business cases for successful sourcing/vendor relationships
  • Experienced negotiation skills in financial and business matters
  • Ability to present technical issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats
  • Teamwork-oriented and experienced working globally
  • Expertise across the full lifecycle of strategic sourcing and corporate procurement activities
  • Clear ability to inspire change, handle conflict, and achieve OKRs
