Job Description

The Senior Project Officer plays a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives that foster inclusion and awareness for Autistic people across the state.

This position supports project delivery, stakeholder engagement, event coordination, website administration, and grants program support.

The role contributes to communications, reporting, and office operations, providing advice, managing complex projects, and supporting collaboration.

This dynamic and impactful role requires critical thinking, sound judgement, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects and ensure successful outcomes
  • Develop and implement strategies for inclusion and awareness
  • Support grant programs and community engagement
  • Contribute to communications and reporting
Requirements

Strong project management skills, an understanding of government processes, and experience working with diverse communities are essential.

A strong network of stakeholders and ability to build effective relationships is crucial.

Critical thinking, sound judgement, and excellent communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
