Child and Family Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled wellbeing professionals to contribute to our school-based support teams. The role requires evidence-based counselling interventions for children from Prep through to Year 12 with mild-to-moderate mental health concerns.

The students you'll be working with will have varied presentations but may benefit from interventions to develop emotional management skills, improve distress tolerance, manage their mood, and enhance interpersonal relationships. A knowledge of various counselling interventions is necessary in this role.

You will deliver broader social, emotional, and wellbeing services across schools via group work, whole year psychoeducation, and whole of school wellbeing strategies. Your key to success will be your capacity to work with school staff and families to understand the needs of students.

Collaboration with key community organisations is crucial to link students and families to services, ensuring holistic supports are provided.

Your role will not only enhance educational outcomes but also shape the future prospects of our students. You will collaborate with a dynamic support team and receive clinical and technical guidance from regional wellbeing supervisors.
