Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of early intervention, prevention, and targeted programs for high-risk Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in the Logan community aimed at whole-of-family support and change.

The role will involve delivering assertive community outreach to identify at-risk and vulnerable families, conducting psychosocial and family wellbeing screening and comprehensive assessments, as well as triaging family care needs.

">

The successful candidate will also assist in the design and packaging of targeted programs based on family needs, presentations, and characteristics of the client group.

">

Additionally, they will lead the facilitation of targeted child and family programs at the Child and Family Centre to facilitate positive child-parent attachment and family wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification of at-risk and vulnerable families in the Logan community">
  • Deliver psychosocial and family wellbeing screening and comprehensive assessments">

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a performance driven environment to meet targets">
  • Experience in program design and facilitation or eagerness to learn quickly">
  • Demonstrated ability to build family agency and self-efficacy through empowerment">
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of vulnerability and intergenerational trauma of client group">
  • Experience with case management for high risk and/or crisis clients">
  • Ability to travel across the Logan and engage with families through cold-call door-knocking">
  • Current driver's license">
