We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and their families.

Job Description:

As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing trauma-informed counselling to children, young people, and families. This will involve assessment, case planning, and therapeutic interventions to promote safety, wellbeing, and development for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

">

* Provide early intervention and family support that promotes child development, healthy attachment, protective behaviours, and life skills.* Conduct risk assessments and safety planning for clients affected by family and domestic violence and provide outreach services as required.

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, Counselling, Childhood Development, or a related field. At least 3 years' experience providing child counselling and working with families experiencing complex needs, including family and domestic violence is also required.
