Job Title: Senior DevOps Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Consultant to play a critical role in maintaining secure configurations for software applications and ensuring seamless continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.

This role blends hands-on engineering with consultative advisory, ensuring organisations adopt best practices in cloud, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate value delivery.

  • Design and implement infrastructure and deployment pipelines across different environments and cloud providers.
  • Shape and evolve CI/CD strategies using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Operate and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, or similar.
  • Advocate Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, improving availability, scalability, and performance.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform reliability roles, and demonstrated expertise in CI/CD practices across at least one major toolchain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with clients to understand business drivers and translate them into modern DevOps solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide cross-functional teams toward DevOps maturity.
  • Lead workshops and advisory sessions to foster DevOps culture and adoption.
  • Document and communicate processes for knowledge sharing, compliance, and governance.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD practices across at least one major toolchain.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider; multi-cloud experience a plus.
  • Strong grasp of Agile, DevOps, and SRE practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure automation.
