About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned cloud professional with expertise in Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) and native GCP services to deliver top-notch solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, consulting, automation, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and cloud professionals to design and implement scalable cloud environments using GCVE and native GCP services.
  • Migrate workloads from on-premises infrastructure to GCVE for enhanced agility, security, and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain secure, reliable hybrid cloud environments with disaster recovery and backups.
  • Solve performance and connectivity issues proactively to ensure high availability.
  • Create documentation, diagrams, and how-to guides to support client teams.
  • Coach client teams on best practices for running GCVE like champions.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on cloud infrastructure or GCP consulting experience.
  • Familiarity with GCVE or VMware technology.
  • Expertise in GCP networking, including VPCs, VPNs, firewalls, and interconnects.
  • Automation skills, including Terraform and Python.
  • Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • GCP certifications, such as Cloud Architect.
  • Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience.
