Cloud Engineering Manager Job Description

The role of a Cloud Engineering Manager is to lead the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure to meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineers and consultants to ensure the successful delivery of cloud projects.
  • Cloud Architecture: Design and implement cloud architecture to meet the requirements of our clients.
  • Infrastructure Management: Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Techonology Integration: Integrate emerging Microsoft technologies into our managed services offering where appropriate.

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Cloud Expertise: 5+ years of experience delivering technical delivery of Azure DevOps and Azure solutions.
  • Cloud Architecture: Experience with designing Azure cloud architecture covering IaaS and / or PaaS services.
  • Cloud Integration: Experience with Azure integration and exposure across services such as Function Apps, App Services, API Management, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
  • Azure AI Services: Experience deploying and managing Azure AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services) in production environments.
