The Australian Government's Dismounted Combat Program team requires a skilled and experienced Programme & Innovation Support Manager to lead their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of complex information and knowledge management methodologies, legislative frameworks, government decision-making processes, and Defence policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Dismounted Combat Programme knowledge and information repositories, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and Defence policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Oversee programme governance activities and external committee reporting necessities.
  • Support the Senior Officer 1 (SO1) Innovation Lead in the daily management of the Dismounted Combat Innovation System initiatives.
  • Effectively manage all programme stakeholders both internally and externally within Defence.

The Dismounted Combat Programme team delivers, sustains, and enhances the 'Soldier Combat System' for Australian Defence Force dismounted combatants to maintain capability superiority. The programme executive is located in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), with teams in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. Our team prioritises service delivery and collaboration.
