About the Role

The Product Owner is a critical member of the Quantaco team, responsible for the delivery of our proprietary applications to customers in the hospitality industry. This role involves managing multiple internal and external partners, ensuring the timely delivery of business performance software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with Software Engineers to define and prioritize product features, ensuring alignment with customer needs and timely delivery.

Product Roadmap Management

Maintain the cadence of the product roadmap by ensuring features are developed, tested, and released according to User Acceptance Testing and release deadlines.

Agile Methodologies

Lead and manage product development using Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to facilitate iterative development, quick feedback loops, and continuous improvement.

User Feedback and Analysis

Gather and analyze user feedback, market research, and stakeholder input to inform feature prioritization and product improvements.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive product development and alignment with strategic goals.

Quality Assurance

Oversee testing processes to ensure delivered features meet quality standards and are thoroughly vetted before release.

Risk Management

Identify potential risks that may impact project timelines or deliverables and develop mitigation strategies.

Communication and Documentation

Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation related to product features, requirements, and decisions.

About You
  • Minimum 3 years of Product Owner experience, utilizing Agile delivery frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience using JIRA for project management, tracking progress, and maintaining a clear product backlog.
  • Superior stakeholder management skills with the ability to negotiate with all stakeholders to ensure project alignment and resource allocation.
  • Effective time management and project management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of interpersonal communication skills, spanning verbal, written, and electronic.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
