What You'll Do

We're seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Product Lead who is looking for their next career-changing opportunity and challenge. In this role, you will be working within a dynamic team that will give you an opportunity to engage across a large portfolio of applications spanning multiple Business domains.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and results-driven Product Lead to build engagement, education, and capability within the IT and Business teams large portfolio of applications spanning multiple Business domains (Primarily Salesforce).

You will assist the Product Manager by leading the product team and delivery of the product capabilities for a suite of applications in the Collaboration Systems space – providing capability for our team, customers, partners, and suppliers to interact with Woolworths in an efficient and effective manner at scale.

You will apply your digital/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) mindset to a large set of diverse business opportunities and engage the business while motivating a large and highly engaged team.

  • Take full responsibility for the running of and changes to a subset of the product applications that fall within a broader suite of applications under the remit of the Product Manager.
  • Develop and manage business relationships with key stakeholders, including Partners.
  • Using agile development practices, oversee the deployment of new functionality in line with the broader strategic roadmap as defined by the Product Manager.
  • Provide escalated support, problem identification, and resolution expertise to meet business service level agreements.
  • Act as the Product Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a suite of product/s within the Woolworths ecosystem.
  • Assist the Product Manager and provide thought leadership with development of Strategies and Roadmaps via consultation with business groups to enable delivery of key business objectives.
  • Manage the product backlog in consultation with the Product Manager.
  • Plan and coordinate change management processes where required.
  • Lead and support the team to adopt a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Manage the software lifecycle from prioritisation, planning, design, development, and ongoing operational support.
  • Support the Product Manager in vendor governance, contract compliance, and adherence to change management protocols.
  • Support the ongoing critical Business As Usual (BAU) activities of the business by owning a strong and stable platform with regular review of system performance to key Service Level Agreements.
  • Manage vendor performance in terms of costs, timeframes, quality to agreed service levels and escalation of non-compliance issues in relation to release deliverables.

What You'll Bring

You will have 5+ years of excellent management and IT-related experience, with effective stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills. You are a go-getter who thrives in a collaborative team environment, contributing to the overall success of the teams.

  • A strong track record in Product Management, business capability delivery, and IT operations within large organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with complex platforms with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A thorough understanding of the DEVOPS Product Life Cycle and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Deep understanding of IT processes, within a retail environment.
  • Influence business strategies through the provision of technical alternatives.
  • Demonstrated technical and management knowledge and/or relevant formal qualifications.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or CRM applications highly desirable.
