Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable database solutions that meet the needs of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tune and optimize queries to improve performance and scalability
  • Manage backups, restores, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Ensure database security, auditing, and compliance with industry regulations
  • Modernize legacy schemas, stored procedures, and ETL scripts
  • Partner with development teams to improve database design and efficiency
  • Architect modern data solutions including Data Lakes, Warehouses, and pipelines
  • Work with AWS services such as RDS, Glue, Athena, S3, and DMS for scalable solutions
  • Leverage automation and monitoring tools to streamline operations and improve reliability
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as a DBA in SQL Server environments
  • Proven ability in performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS RDS, DMS, Glue, Athena, and S3
  • Strong knowledge of HA/DR, backups, encryption, and compliance frameworks
