Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to support project execution by ensuring effective contract and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage subcontract and supply agreements across assigned projects, ensuring timely administration and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Execute sourcing plans in accordance with budget and schedule constraints, aligning with main contract provisions.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers, ensuring risk allocation and implementation of optimal purchasing strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and contractual obligations, addressing variations and claims efficiently.
  • Implement and enforce internal purchasing policies and procedures, promoting efficiency and quality throughout the procurement cycle.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, fostering a culture of excellence in procurement practices.

The ideal candidate will possess 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Contract Administration, preferably within project-driven or multinational environments. Strong negotiation and contract management skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and team working abilities.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in English and SAP systems is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Australian procurement regulations is a plus, although willingness to learn is also valued.
  • Experience working with Italian companies is advantageous but not required.
