Procurement Specialist Role

Squadron Energy is a leading renewable energy company in Australia that develops, operates and owns renewable energy assets. We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to join our team.

Job Overview

The procurement specialist will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, engaging with contractors and consultants, and managing the tender process for Squadron Energy's wind, solar and storage projects.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure efficient and transparent procurement processes
  • Manage relationships with contractors, consultants and suppliers
  • Coordinate the development of contract schedules and tender documents
  • Provide commercial and procurement expertise across all business units
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in Procurement or Project/Commercial Management in construction or energy/renewables sectors
  • Strong understanding of civil infrastructure projects, energy industry and familiarity with renewable energy technologies
  • Tertiary qualification in Law, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field
  • Driver's licence and White card
