About Us

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Consultant to join our team. As a Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-quality customer service through effective claims management.

  • You will provide technical advice in personal injury and property liability claims with some exposure to financial line claims.
  • Identify opportunities to exceed service level expectations, key performance indicators, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of sensitive or high-risk claims according to regulatory guidelines and promote a positive risk culture aligned with the risk governance framework.

The role will focus on managing a portfolio of personal injury and property liability claims throughout various jurisdictions for corporate clients and insurers. You will work collaboratively with our claims team to provide technical advice and support to clients on claims within delegated authorities.

  • Your experience and knowledge will enable you to consistently achieve exceptional results for clients.
  • You will participate in claim reviews and performance meetings to discuss claim strategies, risks, and outcomes.
  • Develop your competencies within certain industries and jurisdictions, supporting clients to better understand their claim risks.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A proven track record of working with personal injury and property liability claims within various Australian jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain information confidently and engage in negotiations for mutual benefit.
  • Sound experience in third-party liability claims with at least 1 year's experience.
Key Requirements

You will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance (desired).
  • Demonstrated prioritisation skills, tolerance for uncertainty, and adaptability.
  • Ability to identify key issues, break down complex problems, establish reserves, and develop solutions.
