Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences

We're seeking a skilled Guest Experience Host to join our team at Surfers Paradise. As a key member of our resort team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless check-in process, and promoting our amazing resorts to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register owners and guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience
  • Offer expert advice on local area attractions and activities
  • Complete all department-related paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Utilize communication equipment, including telephones, facsimiles, and computers, to provide exceptional service
  • Meet guests face-to-face and generate sales appointments for our sales centers
  • Build rapport with customers to deliver an exceptional experience
  • Collaborate with the resort operations team to ensure a high level of service and a seamless transition for owners and guests
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of traveling within our Wyndham Destinations community
  • Meet targets and KPIs as set by the business

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar hotel position
  • A genuine passion for customer service and the local area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude
  • Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards
  • High levels of computer literacy
  • Previous experience with a PMS system (Hirum, Fidelio, Opera, etc.) is advantageous
  • The ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace
  • A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public, and school holidays
