Procurement Leader for Property and Construction

This role will shape the procurement strategy for property, construction, and operational infrastructure categories.

  • Design and execute multi-year procurement and category strategies for store and warehouse fit-outs, signage, refrigeration, fixtures, and capital work services.
  • Lead complex sourcing initiatives, commercial negotiations, and supplier contracting.
  • Develop governance models, scorecards, and compliance frameworks to manage project risks.
  • Ensure all procurement activity aligns with health and safety standards, building codes, and internal delegations.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in property, retail, legal, finance, risk, and health and safety.
  • Coach and grow a team of procurement partners supporting national development programs.

  • A seasoned procurement leader with deep experience in property, construction, and capital works categories.
  • Proven success delivering complex capital procurement programs within retail, infrastructure, logistics, or commercial environments.
  • Deep understanding of construction contracts, project procurement, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management at the executive level.
  • A collaborative and hands-on style to lead transformation and supplier innovation.
