We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Newcastle team, where you will be responsible for delivering various types of technically challenging projects across urban renewal/development and municipal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects and delivery of engineering investigation, assessment, and design and construction management documentation across a range of sectors.
  • Design of roads, bulk earthworks and drainage.
  • Manage and communicate project requirements to sub-consultants, contractors, architects and developers.
  • Multi-discipline project delivery by utilising a variety of civil design packages.

Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience within a tier 1 and/or tier 2 engineering consultancy.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 post-graduate years of experience as a competent consulting engineer.
  • Experience in preparing detailed design and documentation of roads, intersections, pavements, earthworks, and stormwater drainage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time, whilst working autonomously.
  • Understanding of local government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of civil design software such as 12D Model and/or Civil 3D.
  • Competent and independent use of other civil modelling software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, Autoturn and AutoCAD.
