Pharmacy Technician Job Opportunity

The Role:

A permanent part-time position is available for a pharmacy technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Dispensing and supplying medications for hospital patients and outpatients
  • Coordinating the safe, accurate and timely supply of all medications
  • Keeping accurate records of continuing and existing treatments and organizing confirmation of future orders
  • Completing data entry of patient-specific information into oncology databases
  • Liaising with hospital staff and associated employees
  • Assisting with the management of PBS claims and owing prescriptions
  • Assisting with stock management activities
  • Customer account billing and record management
  • Supporting patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Producing medication discharge profiles
  • Undertaking delivery and collection of medication
  • Assisting with patient account enquiries
