About the Role:

We are Alter Domus, a leading provider of alternative investment fund administration services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client accounts, providing exceptional service and support to our clients;
  • Collaborate with management and junior staff to ensure the quality of work produced for client accounts;
  • Review and approve work produced for submission to senior level staff;
  • Attend training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge;
  • Participate in the setup of alternative investment funds, liaising with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries;
  • Manage day-to-day operations of funds, including following up with third parties, investors, and fund managers;
  • Prepare periodic reports and regulatory reports for fund entities;
  • Coordinate audits, review fund-related reports, and prepare Net Asset Value calculations and year-end financial statements;
  • Coordinate investor servicing, including investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, and shareholder statements;
  • Organize and participate in board meetings and shareholders' meetings;
  • Review tax returns and tax balances, and maintain relevant contacts with tax authorities.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting & Finance or Economics;
  • Fully qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA/CPAA/CIMA/ACA);
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration, audit firms, or domiciliation;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Strong team spirit, ability to build strong client relationships, and take initiative when appropriate.
