Our client, a prominent global entity in funds management services, is seeking multiple Senior Tax Accountants to support their operations on 6-month contracts.

This role is situated within the Tax Operations team, part of the Tax Services – Fund Administration division. The position involves significant collaboration with various managers and teams across the Operations Division, including Fund Administration, Investment Administration, Custody Operations, and other internal departments such as Risk Control & Finance and Relationship Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the precise and timely delivery of tax reporting obligations.
  • Conduct reviews of distribution calculations, superannuation fund tax computations, and tax returns.
  • Oversee and maintain client tax profiles and security static data essential for reporting and tax calculations.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries effectively.
  • Comply with operational standards and risk management policies.
  • Support project completion, including the testing of tax templates.
  • Actively engage in team efforts to meet collective deliverables.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Senior Tax Accountant: Minimum of 4 years of tax experience, including review and oversight in a similar funds management or Big 4 tax accounting environment.
  • Experience in financial services is essential; familiarity with custody or funds management is highly advantageous, as is experience with Big 4 Chartered firms.
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required.

Competitive day rates are available for successful candidates, commensurate with experience.
