Our client, a leading global entity in funds management services, is seeking multiple Senior Tax Accountants to enhance their team on 6-month contracts.

These positions may have the potential for extension or transition to permanent roles for exceptional candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidates will be part of the Tax Operations team, which operates within the Tax Services – Fund Administration sector. This role involves significant collaboration with various managers and teams across the Operations Division, including Fund Administration, Investment Administration, Custody Operations, and other internal departments such as Risk Control & Finance and Relationship Management.

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of tax reporting outputs.
  • Review distribution calculations, superannuation fund tax computations, and tax returns.
  • Maintain and review client tax profiles and security static data essential for reporting and tax computations.
  • Address and respond to client inquiries effectively.
  • Comply with operational regulations and risk management policies.
  • Assist in project completion, including testing of tax templates.
  • Contribute actively to achieving other team objectives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Senior Tax Accountant: Minimum of 4 years of tax experience, including reviewing and checking in a similar funds management or Big 4 tax accounting environment.
  • Experience in financial services is essential; a background in custody or funds management is advantageous, as well as experience in Big 4 Chartered firms.
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required.

Competitive day rates are available for successful candidates, reflecting their level of experience.
