Role Overview

This is a temporary full-time position with some work-from-home opportunities. The successful candidate will be part of a large national employer based in Brisbane.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage workplace injuries, including coordination of medical treatment and rehabilitation.
  • Develop and implement return-to-work plans and monitor progress.
  • Provide advice and guidance on injury prevention, early intervention, and workplace health and safety.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improving health and safety in the workplace.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders including medical practitioners, insurers, rehabilitation providers, and WorkCover representatives.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or related field.
  • Experience in injury management and return-to-work coordination, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation and rehabilitation legislation and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
