
Occupational Health And Safety Advisor

NES Fircroft is partnered with a global business currently seeking to engage an Australian based Occupational Health and Safety Advisor. This role will work alongside the external client OHS Advisor to lead and coordinate delivery of safety components for a key project over the next three years.
The Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Advisor will provide OHS expertise to support financing projects, engage and work with functional specialists as required, including both external and internal stakeholders.
**Safety Health Wellbeing and Environment**
- Maintain self in a fit state for work
- Comply with all OHS&E policies, standards, procedures and tools
- Promote safety, health, wellbeing & environmental awareness amongst workmates
Medical Assessments
- Zero accidents or incidents to self or team
**Stakeholder Collaboration**
- Work closely with all stakeholders (Financing Projects, mine operations, Government representatives, Financiers, Board, and Customers) to ensure alignment and communication channels are optimised; Stakeholders speak favourably of their interactions and are positively engaged
**Reporting**
- Prepare and present detailed reports, presentations and recommendations to CFO, Projects and TCM Project Manager
- Stakeholders acknowledge they are adequately informed and can make informed decisions
**Localisation Plan**
- Develop a training needs analysis
- Implement the localisation plan
- Successfully signed off by People and Social Sustainability teams
- Capability has been built to undertake subsequent projects
Relevant qualification at degree level is highly desirable for this role.
Salary on offer is AUD210 000 plus superannuation.
Pay: $210,000.00 per year
