This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, providing excellent customer service, and upholding high standards of store appearance.   • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver top-notch customer service to guests and associates alike.
  • Clean and maintain store facilities, including windows, floors, bathrooms, and trash containers.
  • Stock shelves and coolers efficiently, ensuring maximum visibility and accessibility.
  • Sweep and mop floors regularly, maintaining a spotless environment.
  • Inspect and verify product deliveries from vendors, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform yard maintenance tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, painting, and checking gas wells.
  • Communicate effectively with associates and guests, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Manage paperwork accurately, counting, reading, and writing with precision.
  • Wear required uniform attire and present a professional image.
  • Be available to work weekend, evening shifts, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
  • Utilize reliable transportation for work-related duties.
  • Attend mandatory meetings, embracing opportunities for growth and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion.
  • Reach above shoulder height and bend below waist.
  • Freely access all areas of the store.
  • Move quickly around the store.

Benefits:

  • Starting pay is $16.00 per hour for a store maintenance position, with potential increases for experienced candidates.
  • Earn an additional $.50 cents per hour from midnight to 6 a.m. (subject to company policy).
  • Performance reviews occur within 90 days, with annual assessments thereafter.
  • Health insurance becomes available within 90 days of your starting date.
  • Vacation pay, overtime pay over 40 hours, annual bonuses based on store profits, and overtime pay for working holidays are also offered.
