Workforce Planning Analyst Role

">Job Summary

The Workforce Planning Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping our rostering and scheduling operations by providing strategic insights, optimising resources, and ensuring compliance.

">Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data-driven rosters up to six months in advance, balancing participant needs with staff utilisation
  • Analyse schedules and staffing patterns to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery teams to ensure rosters align with client needs, staff skills, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor key performance indicators (labour costs, overtime, utilisation, absenteeism) and prepare reports/dashboards for leaders
  • Model workforce scenarios (e.g., new participants, surge demand, leave coverage) to build resilience
  • Ensure full compliance with NDIS, Fair Work, and rostering standards
  • Act as an expert on workforce analytics, supporting leaders with actionable insights and recommendations

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in workforce planning, scheduling, or analytics, preferably in healthcare, disability, aged care, or in-home support. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with scheduling systems, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of NDIS service delivery and compliance frameworks.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, compliance-focused, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. They will be able to juggle complex rostering requirements across dispersed teams, turn data into actionable insights, and genuinely passionate about improving outcomes for people with disability.
