Operations Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Improvement Specialist to join our team at our new facility on the Sunshine Coast. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual to contribute to optimizing production processes and enhancing operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and reporting on production-related metrics, including usage, costing, labor variances, throughput, waste, and operational performance.
  • Conducting in-depth production analysis, interpreting complex data, and making recommendations based on findings.
  • Developing tools and implementing statistical methods to identify areas for improvement and suggest process streamlining opportunities.
  • Crafting and maintaining analytical tools for capacity planning, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
  • Evaluating new product introductions for capacity impacts and determining optimal manufacturing resource allocation strategies.

About You:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations analysis, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • A track record of successfully applying Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills, with expertise in Excel.
  • A high level of initiative, motivation, and adaptability.
