We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Plant Operations Coordinator Lead to join our team at Entergy in Port Arthur, Texas. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our power plant.


About the Role


The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in power plant operations, preferably with a background in leadership or management roles. A strong understanding of safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality control principles is essential for this position.


Responsibilities



  • Safety Management: Ensure that all employees follow established safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Operations Coordination: Provide direction and guidance to operations teams to ensure the efficient and effective execution of daily activities.
  • Leadership and Training: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of operations team members.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Verify that all operations meet regulatory requirements, including those related to environmental protection, occupational health, and safety.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee regular equipment maintenance and repair activities to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements



  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year Process Technology degree desired.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of power plant experience, preferably in operations leadership or management roles.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to lead multiple activities and changing priorities, self-motivated and dependable team player.

Additional Information


This position requires a strong understanding of power plant operations, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. The selected candidate will be expected to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
