About the Job:

We are seeking a seasoned Capital Projects Management expert to join our team in Port Arthur, TX or Lake Charles, LA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $30 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of safety and lead the project team to establish leading indicators to ensure safe working conditions for all stakeholders.
  • Define project organization structures and identify technical skills required to achieve project goals, collaborating with Entergy management to assign appropriately skilled individuals to the Project Team.
  • Assist in contract preparation and execution, approving requisitions, change orders, and invoices as needed, while ensuring compliance with Entergy's Project Delivery Standard.
  • Direct project teams to develop and execute project deliverables, such as the Project Execution Plan (PEP), contracting strategy, cost estimates, schedules, risk register, reports, and more.
  • Coordinate activities among project stakeholders, including consultants and contractors, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage project performance, monitoring contractor(s) performance in project safety, scope, schedule, cost, quality of work, contract change requests, and compliance with contractual requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Generation, with a strong background in large capital project management.
  • Field experience is preferred.
