Job Title

A Professional Standards Case Manager is responsible for providing support to the Professional Standards and Behaviours Department. This team focuses on trauma-informed processes and evidence-based preventative programs.

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a presence at Blackburn North while working in a hybrid model, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Intake, Response and Support.
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Coordinating complaints throughout their lifecycle, developing case management plans, and referring investigations as needed
  • Serving as the single point of contact for all parties involved, providing advice and updates on progress
  • Contributing to emerging conduct issues and trends, devising strategies to prevent and minimize professional conduct matters
  • Providing responsive advice and recommendations via documented case plans, focusing on people-centered resolutions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will possess a degree or relevant industry certification, along with proven experience in Industrial Relations or Human Resources. Additional requirements include:

  • A commitment to a high-performing, collaborative team environment
  • Experience as a case manager with knowledge of evidence-based professional standards practices
  • An extensive working knowledge of HR practices, regulations, and legislation relating to case management
  • Broad understanding of the current regulatory framework pertaining to alleged misconduct and workplace behavior
