Product Development Opportunity

The role involves taking on a key position within our team, responsible for the end-to-end development of seasonal collections.

  • Initial fabric and trim sourcing
  • Detailed CAD design and comprehensive techpack development
  • Trim, labeling, and artwork development
  • Range board development
  • Liaising with a dedicated garment technician to build detailed specifications
  • Elaborate and consistent factory liaising during the entire development process
  • Managing all fittings – 1st prototype, sample-making and pre-production, and managing comments with the garment technician
  • Managing costings and achieving margin requirements
  • Adhering to critical path deadlines
  • Following the product through to final shipment sample

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a keen eye for contemporary high-end fashion, fit, and garment construction, coupled with exceptional organisational and time management skills.

While not a design role, a solid understanding and natural eye for premium detail, finish, and design is essential.

Key Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience within a similar role, managing the development of products fully, end to end
  • Design qualification with strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite and comprehensive technical sketch and CAD development
  • Experience with offshore garment manufacturing, factory communication, and price negotiation
  • Expert knowledge of garment development, fit, and construction
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Passion, genuine interest, and understanding of design, fashion, and womenswear
  • A creative affiliation, interest, and understanding of the aesthetic
