Drakes Supermarkets is a leading Australian retailer seeking a skilled Dairy/Freezer Manager to join our team. As a key member of our grocery retail team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth in the dairy and freezer departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales growth in the dairy and freezer departments
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering, and stock management to minimize waste and maximize profitability
  • Collaborate with the buying team to select and purchase products that meet customer needs and drive sales growth
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in the grocery or dairy industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions to drive sales growth
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
