Mining Project Director

">About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding position for an experienced professional to lead mine development projects from start to finish.

As Mining Project Director, you will oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

- Manage cross-functional teams, including contractors, consultants, and employees, to ensure project objectives are met.

- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and community groups.

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Lead risk management, change control, and quality assurance activities.

- Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth and expansion.

- Identify and capitalize on new opportunities for revenue generation and market penetration.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or related field.

- At least 10 years of experience in mining, with a focus on project leadership.

- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of mining laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Experience with project management tools and software.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel as required.
