We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Lead to drive the growth of our laboratory services in Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to build this business from the ground up, leveraging their existing network and skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish strong client relationships by building relationships with key stakeholders and industry players.
  • Source and recruit talented professionals to join our team and contribute to the growth of our laboratory services.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and revenue.
  • Cultivate partnerships with major clients and negotiate contracts that benefit both parties.
  • Manage a small team of sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the construction materials testing industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Construction Materials Testing Industry, including player dynamics and pricing models.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, and client management.
  • Strong understanding of Vic Main Roads and its operations.
  • Ability to build and grow a start-up business, establishing and maintaining strong networks and partnerships.
  • Civil Construction background with expertise in soil, aggregate, and concrete testing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
