Job Title:
Global Payroll Operations Manager
The role of Global Payroll Operations Manager involves overseeing the entire payroll process for a global organisation. This includes leading a team of payroll professionals and ensuring that all payroll operations are conducted accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and approve monthly, fortnightly, and ad-hoc pay runs to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Own monthly payroll reporting, journal preparation, and payroll balance sheet reconciliations.
- Lead a team of payroll professionals in Melbourne and provide oversight to offshore payroll operations.
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve and enhance payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and contractual obligations.
- Oversee the transition of Asian countries to a new global payroll service provider.
- Implement and roll-out future global managed payroll services.
Requirements:
Extensive experience as a Payroll Manager in a large, complex organisation is highly regarded.
Familiarity with Workday, ADP GlobalView, and/or Ramco Payce Global Payroll is an asset.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and adaptability to change.
Demonstrated leadership experience with coaching and mentoring teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
