Senior Legal Regulatory Expert

The role is responsible for ensuring consistency in legal regulation across jurisdictions and promoting expansion of the Uniform Law Framework.
As both the Commissioner for Uniform Legal Services Regulation and CEO of the Legal Services Council, you will lead strategic policy, regulatory integration, and operational excellence.
About The Role- Drive growth and development of the Uniform Law Framework to support effective delivery of the Council's mandate.
- Implement strategic planning, governance, and accountability frameworks to support timely and high-quality advice on the development and maintenance of Uniform Rules.
- Oversee financial management and drive operational efficiencies to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Lead the Council's operations and committees in line with its strategic direction and timelines set by the Council and Standing Committee.
- Ensure seamless communication between stakeholders and internal teams to achieve shared goals.
- Promote compliance with the requirements of the Uniform Law and the Uniform Rules.
- Proven expertise in legal policy, regulation, or professional standards.
- Deep understanding of best practice regulation principles, regulatory frameworks, and legal market dynamics.
- Respected leader with sound judgment, integrity, and professional ethics.
