Infrastructure Cost Management Opportunity

About our Project

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our infrastructure project team as a Junior Cost Controller/Graduate Accountant. This role offers the chance to work on some of Australia's most significant projects while developing your career in cost management and project controls.

  • Process financial transactions, track project costs, and prepare variance reports to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Assist with accounts payable/receivable and month-end procedures to maintain a smooth financial workflow.
  • Monitor labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses by project to optimize project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare financial reports and budget support documentation to aid decision-making.
  2. Maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  3. Support audit preparations and compliance requirements to meet regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Accounting is required.
  • Cost control experience with an understanding of budget analysis and similar responsibilities is essential.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as P6, Prism, Vision CPM, or similar controlling software is preferred.
