This position involves managing financial data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounting.
Key Responsibilities:- Data entry and reconciliation tasks including sales invoices, credit cards, bank records, accounts receivable, payroll, and other General Ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Updating and maintaining Fixed Assets schedule regularly.
- Preparing and processing journals, corporate taxation reports, returns, and remittances in collaboration with tax agents.
- Monthly preparation of KPI and Dashboard Reports, budget analysis, and visa lodgement reports.
- Weekly cash forecasting and daily updates.
- Assistance in preparing financial year budgets.
- Compilation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements.
- Creation of financial management reports, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Maintenance of audit files at the end of each financial period.
- Coordination with external debt collectors for long outstanding receivables.
- Record keeping and maintenance of client financial data including sales and payment information.
- Preparation of monthly payroll.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial accounting activities.
- Familiarity with MYOB and proficiency in using computerized systems.
- Expertise in month-end reporting and BAS preparation.
