Position Title: Associate Lecturer

Description:

The College of Health and Medicine is seeking a highly motivated academic to provide academic input into the broad Indigenous health curriculum. The successful applicant will teach into both the MChD and the Bachelor of Health Sciences, contributing to the School's goal of improving health outcomes for Indigenous people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To further develop, coordinate, deliver, promote and evaluate the Indigenous Health program in the School, utilising knowledge and experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and societies;
  • To work closely with key School and College staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the School;

Selection Criteria:

  • A relevant qualification or experience in Indigenous health and/or education;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and perspectives;
  • Ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities;
  • Strong teaching and academic skills, including the ability to develop and deliver high-quality educational programs;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals;
