Job Title: Perioperative Services Leader
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced perioperative leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our services and ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple sites;
- Drive theatre activity growth, operational efficiency, and excellence in patient care;
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and patient-centred care;
- Oversee clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement projects, and accreditation readiness;
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, staff, and key stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- A collaborative and inspiring healthcare leader with experience in complex environments;
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA;
- Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing and/or healthcare management;
- Significant leadership experience at a senior or executive level within an acute hospital;
- Proven expertise in clinical, financial, risk, and human resource management;
- Strong change management, strategic thinking, and business development skills;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
