Job Title:Business Development Leader for International Transactions

About the Role:

  • Lead the successful implementation of a cross-border transactions business in Asia Pacific (AP), including developing and executing go-to-market plans and building strategic relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Develop country-specific commercialization strategies, analyzing market sizing and identifying pain points and opportunity size through in-depth research.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to assemble a product suite that addresses key customer needs and solves money movement flow challenges.
  • Achieve significant revenue growth for international transactions services by prospecting and contracting banks and non-bank financial institutions.
  • Build industry partnerships and strategic alliances to support business objectives.
  • Play a key role in facilitating financial modeling and business case development for new business opportunities, executing commercial deals from initial engagements through client negotiations and contract agreements.
  • Owning account-level profitability, including pricing, yield optimization, corridor optimization, and best practice deployment.
  • Identify areas requiring product development and assess long-term revenue potential.
  • Monitor and report on competition, market evolution, and trends; analyze findings from ongoing and past research efforts, and recommend actions.

About You:

  • This position requires a collaborative individual who can manage relationships across multiple functional areas, regional executives and leadership, as well as key customers and strategic partners.
  • 10+ years of experience with in-depth knowledge of cross-border flows and a strong understanding of the AP market.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility; team-oriented, diplomatic, and flexible.
  • Cross-functional team leadership experience, managing multiple complex projects concurrently and delivering timely results under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of introducing new or emerging products and services.
  • Experience executing and managing business development strategies in complex environments.
  • Strategy and product management experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to build efficient sales teams, achieve business development targets, and foster strong customer relationships.
